METHODOLOGY

We observed that new users often struggled to navigate Eloomin smoothly after signing up. To uncover the root of these onboarding challenges, we conducted in-depth interviews with first-time users to better understand their pain points, expectations, and initial reactions to the platform.

To design a more intuitive and engaging onboarding experience for Eloomin, we created user archetypes based on patterns identified through user interviews with first-time and active users. These archetypes helped us align the product experience with real user needs and behaviors.

Eloomin is a social platform built around shared interests.

But there was just one problem...

Before redesign, Eloomin had no onboarding at all, leaving new users confused, disengaged, and likely to drop off.
